SENSE AND SENSIBILITY!

The pupils of Room 3 (Senior Infants) have been very busy investigating all five of the human senses. They understand that we use each of the senses – sight, touch, smell, taste and hearing – to gather information about the world around us. This information is important as it allows us to make decisions. For example, if something doesn’t taste very good, it’s probably not a very good idea to eat it in case you risk getting a tummy ache! Their teacher, Ms. Ryan, came up with the clever idea of dividing the pupils into groups, with each group discussing one of the senses. Afterwards the pupils created some eye-catching wall displays by working together to make a senses collage.
