Parents' Council - smgs

Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál has a very active Parents' Council whose activities support the work of the school. They organise fund-raising activities throughout the year, e.g. competitions, raffles, no-uniform days etc. and also contribute towards policy formation in the school.

In years past, the Parents' Council have raised enough money for us to have the entire Junior Yard resurfaced to make it a safer play area for the younger children. This was a very expensive project and is greatly appreciated.

National Parents Council Primary (NPC) is the nationwide organisation representing parents of children attending early and primary education.
