FESTIVE FAIR IN THE ÁRAS MHUIRE HALL!
Many thanks to the Parents Council and our HSCL teacher Ms. Brady for organising the amazing and fun-filled Christmas Fair on Friday 9th December 2016. We were mesmerised by the colourful gift stalls and the delicious food and goodies corner. There are obviously some very talented parents in our school as we noticed some beautiful handmade gifts for sale among the stalls. One stall that really caught our interest was that belonging to John the engineer who had brought along his 3D printer. We watched in astonishment as he printed off some Christmas tree decorations right before our eyes! John explained that the printer follows a set of instructions or a code and that this allows it to build up a series of layers to create the finished 3D piece. Many of us purchased some extra special Christmas decorations to adorn our trees this year!
Best of all, there was another very special visitor at the fair: Santa himself! We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas 2016 and a very happy and healthy 2017 wished to everyone!
