Building Bridges - smgs

ROOM 3’S DESIGN AND MAKE ACTIVITY.
The pupils of Room 3 (Senior Infants) decided to get busy with investigating bridges. The pupils worked in small groups and contributions from all members were welcomed. Teacher helped to guide the activity. While not using vocabulary that was too technical, the pupils experimented with supports for their bridges, as well as girders and caps. Evidence of their work was captured using photographs and written accounts. Their teacher, Ms. Ryan, created an eye-catching display in the junior corridor to demonstrate the pupils’ work.

Staying with the theme of bridges, Ms. De Bruyn carried out a similar bridge building activity with her learning support group. One pupil shows off his creation with pride!
